My family has purchased 4 cars through the ford dealership, and every time it has been a wonderful experience. My most recent purchase was a new Ford Focus ST, and my sales associate was Fernando Pena (also our salesman for previous cars). He is an outstanding salesman and was always very helpful and friendly to me whenever I walked in, even if I wasn't purchasing a car. He was always a delight to talk to and joke around with, and remembers my father and I personally whenever we walk in the door. It feels like the dealership truly respects their customers and is there to help. Top notch service right in our neighborhood
So I went to buy a 2017 Ford Mustang; everything was going fine. I was trying to figure out the number which works for me the best but sales person was getting upset because I was bringing in details about their promotions and they felt like they can’t ripped me off. The moment I mentioned I want to trade in my 2014 CRV($15000 needs to be paid to buy it off and had only 30k miles)they really didn’t appreciate it since I mentioned that they have 20% addition to my trade in (their special promotion) which shouldn’t leave me with any negative equity and I should be able to buy Mustang GT. The Sales person brought in the sales manager(James Kim; the Asian guy) who came in to the office looking so busy and rude when we were the only customer at dealership. When I told him about the promotion for trade in he said and I will put it in the quote “If I don’t want to take the car then I don’t have to” and he left the office without even listening to us. He is a very unprofessional sales person I ever met and I don’t know how he became a sales manager who doesn’t know anything about customer service. And the sales person was acting like some body forced him to work there and he doesn’t even care if he sell us the car. I would never step foot in that dealership even if they offer me a free vehicle.
